I'm a self-confessed BBM addict! I love everything about BBM! BBM is simply the BEST!
It's the only feature of Blackberry that makes it unique among all other smart phones!
Here's why BBM is the BEST:
Best - There's a saying that the best things in life are free! Forget about sending text messages! With BBM, as long as you are subscribed to Blackberry Internet Service (BIS), you can send as many messages as you want because it's for free!
Entrepreneurial - BBM can also be used in business if you just think out of the box! You can replace your profile picture with the item that you're selling and put a "for sale message" on your status for your friends to see! It's a unique way of marketing!
If a BBM contact is interested in your item, you can take more pictures and send them all to that prospective buyer through BBM before you even meet and close the deal! Pictures are not the only things that can be sent through BBM. You can even send a voice note and file. How cool is that?
Alternatively, since BBM allows you to join BBM groups, you can share a picture of the item that you're selling to market it to your fellow BBMers who are members of that group! That's truly maximizing the social media ability of BBM!
Social - BBM allows you to see the status updates of your friends. You'll get updated with what happened to them as they update their status right on their BBMs! You can add as many BBM friends as you want whether they are located locally or abroad!
With BBM, you can join groups and chat with your fellow BBMers! You can also take a picture and post it in the group for others to see! BBM is the best way to get connected with your friends!
In fact, I found a set of friends in BBM through our Crackberry group!
Timely- What's unique in BBM is that you know instantly if the recipient of your message actually reads it. The moment that the message was delivered, a "D" symbol appears beside the message. However, the moment it was read by the recipient, the "D" turns to "R". As the girl in the video above mentioned: "If you read my BBM and you don't answer, I know you read it, I Iove that!"
With my addiction to BBM, my Blackberry once sent me a BBM message saying:
Dear Tyrone,
It's me - Blackberry! Thanks for the love and care.
You hold me with both your hands, being as gentle as could be.
You ensure that I am always with you; if I fall, you are afraid of my injury.
I always have your undivided attention most especially to my BBM
You get upset if others disturb our time together;
When I feel low, you make every effort to recharge my battery;
When I am hungry, you feel me with airtime;
Every month, you ensure that you set aside money, to buy me bundles of love;
You upgraded me from a curve to bold.
You rush home from work and spend quality time with me;
Not really bothered to make a conversation with those whom you brought into your home;
You can sit up with me for hours and smile at me, yet I have no humanly emotions;
I watch your parents and brothers who envies our time together.

I appeal to you.
Your life is wasted because of me.
Take some time, leave me aside and sort out issues which are important to you
Because I may love you as much as you do me but I'm just a blackberry and nothing more.
