It's the only feature of Blackberry that makes it unique among all other smart phones!

Best - There's a saying that the best things in life are free! Forget about sending text messages! With BBM, as long as you are subscribed to Blackberry Internet Service (BIS), you can send as many messages as you want because it's for free!

Entrepreneurial - BBM can also be used in business if you just think out of the box! You can replace your profile picture with the item that you're selling and put a "for sale message" on your status for your friends to see! It's a unique way of marketing!

If a BBM contact is interested in your item, you can take more pictures and send them all to that prospective buyer through BBM before you even meet and close the deal! Pictures are not the only things that can be sent through BBM. You can even send a voice note and file. How cool is that?

Alternatively, since BBM allows you to join BBM groups, you can share a picture of the item that you're selling to market it to your fellow BBMers who are members of that group! That's truly maximizing the social media ability of BBM!

Social - BBM allows you to see the status updates of your friends. You'll get updated with what happened to them as they update their status right on their BBMs! You can add as many BBM friends as you want whether they are located locally or abroad!

In fact, I found a set of friends in BBM through our Crackberry group!

Timely- What's unique in BBM is that you know instantly if the recipient of your message actually reads it. The moment that the message was delivered, a "D" symbol appears beside the message. However, the moment it was read by the recipient, the "D" turns to "R". As the girl in the video above mentioned: "If you read my BBM and you don't answer, I know you read it, I Iove that!"

With my addiction to BBM, my Blackberry once sent me a BBM message saying:

Dear Tyrone,

It's me - Blackberry! Thanks for the love and care.
You hold me with both your hands, being as gentle as could be.
You ensure that I am always with you; if I fall, you are afraid of my injury.
I always have your undivided attention most especially to my BBM

How to Remove the Navigation Bar in Blogger?

Blogger is built in with navigation bar. It is the horizontal one appearing on top of your layout. As a blogger, you just want to delete it for your blog to look more professional.

The most common way to remove the navigation bar from appearing in your blog is to add a simple html code in your blog's template.Using the latest version of blogger, you can follow the following steps outlined below to remove your blog's navigation bar.

Step 1: Log In to your blogger account

Step 2: Go to "Design"

Step 3: Go to "Edit HTML"
Step 4: Check the "Expand Widget Templates"

Step 5: Look for the following code:

For fast look up, you can press "Ctrl + F" which is short for the command "find" and then paste the code above.

Step 6: Once you've located that code in your template, you need to paste the code below after the dotted lines below the URL:

Step 7: The image below shows the correct position where you should put the code in Step 6:

Step 8: After you've successfully completed the steps above, press "Save Template" at the bottom. That's it! You should not be seeing your Navigation Bar anymore!

In one of my previous posts, I listed down 65 ways on how to get traffic to your blog. If you are a new blogger, definitely you won’t have much funds to use to promote your blog. The key to making money online is to attract a lot of visitors to your site. Blog traffic equates to money. The more visitors a blog has, the better its chances to earn more money online.

If you’re a newbie blogger, how would you promote your new blog to attract more visitors? Blog promotion means to create buzz about your product or service. However, if you don’t have any products or service to offer, consider your blog as your product and promote it. Tell people that your blog exists because if you don’t tell them, who else is going to?

Here are some of the ways on how you could promote your blog if you are a newbie blogger:

By leaving a comment, you are leaving a footprint of your blog since you have the option to enter your name, url, and email address for every comment you make.

There's only one phrase to be remembered when it comes to blogging: "Content is king and Marketing is queen". Having said that, a blogger needs to add value to his or her blog. Bloggers need to write quality content that will certainly be beneficial to their readers.

However, content alone cannot stand. You should have readers as well. Content is useless if there are no readers. It's like you're selling quality products in tour business without buyers.

Blogging is like a business. You as the owner of your blog, serves as the CEO of your business. Your readers, on the other hand, will serve as your clients. They will be the ones to "buy" your product by reading your blog's contents.

Like in the real world of business, there should also be an interaction between a blogger and his readers just in the case of a business and its clients. While business and face to face meetings is the common practice in the world of business, blog comments, discussion threads and blog events are the equivalent of that in blogging.

True enough, when you have established your blog, then it becomes more like a business as you can now entertain advertisers. Since blogging is now one of the forms of social media, it provides an avenue for advertisers to market their products to your readers.

A blog with a lot of feed readers is a well known blog. It means that you have a lot of readers in your blog. Everytime you publish a blog post, then each of these feed subscribers will receive your article directly to their email address without having them having to visit your blog's site. This is a good way of marketing your blog and a nice way to increase your traffic.

In addition, the higher your feed readers and feed subscribers are, the better for you to make money online? Why? It's because of adsense for feeds. Each of these feed reader subscribers will receive your article with adsense ads on it.

Now, how to increase your feed readers? here are some of the things that you should do to gain more feed readers:

Show Your Feed Count. A lot of bloggers subscribe to blogs that they are following and interested in. If you showed your blog feed reader count, and if it's already more than, say 100, then chances are other readers will get curious as to why your blog gets that number of feed readers. In effect, they will subscribe too.

What Keywords Do You Need to Optimize?

Ok, so you may have probably have known about search engine optimization. Having known it, what are the keywords do you need to optimize in order to make money online?

As a blogger for more than 1 year, I studied what are some of the best keywords that needs to be optimized in order to successfully make money online.

First of all, you need to gauge what are the keywords that generates traffic. What are the keywords that people all over the world are searching for. What is "hot" in the internet?

Having said that, Google offers these keywords for free for all through its Google Trends. Visiting the Google Trends site will lead you to two columns, the 'hot topics' and the 'hot searches'. These are both the keywords that you need to optimize.

To make a successful blog posts that generates traffic, you need to combine two or three of these keywords in one single post. Obviously, you will need to research more on these topics for you to write a quality content.

Alternatively, search engine Yahoo also offers its hot searches keywords through its Yahoo Buzz List. In addition, you can also look at the site of Alexa Hot URLs. Alexa is one way of measuring your blog traffic. The lower the number of your alexa rank, the higher your traffic is. Since Alexa is a toolbar installed by most webmasters to measure the traffic rank of their blogs or websites, it stores information on what are the hot topics mostly searched by people around the world.

Lastly, you need to optimize keywords which are high paying. It may not lead you to instant huge traffic like the ones that I described above but it can make you huge money once you topped Google Search Results on these keywords.

In order to view which ones are high paying, you can go to Google Adword Keyword Tool. You just need to enter the keywords that you're optimizing and look for the 'advertiser competition' and the monthly searches both global and local. The higher the advertiser competition means that particular keyword is high-paying since more advertisers compete for that.

Furthermore, looking at both the global and local monthly searches will reveal you how heavy the traffic of these keywords in Google. You can also use this Keyword Guide to look for golden keywords in your niche.

There are two famous platforms used in blogging - wordpress and blogger. I was recently asked by a newbie blogger which between these two famous blogging platforms is the best and why did I chose blogger as a platform for this make money online blog.

Based on my eperience and other experiences of other bloggers, here are the advantages and disadvantages of using both wordpress and blogger as a blogging platform.

Plug-Ins. When it comes to flexibility, wordpress has an adavantage over blogger especially when it comes to plug ins. Plug Ins are add-on programs used in wordpress that has varied functionalities. While blogger has it too which you can access through the layout by adding gadgets, they are very very limited.

Layout and Design. No doubt, when it comes to layout and design, wordpress is the winner over blogger. Wordpress enables you to choose from various wordpress templates and themes and if you're knowledgeable in programs such as HTML, PHP, and CSS you can easily customized the design of your blog according to your choice. While blogger has also a lot of templates available for download, it has lesser flexibility when it comes to customization.

Blogging Expenses When it comes to expenses in blogging, wordpress is definitely more expensive than blogger. This is because wordpress uses a customized URL and a paid hosting. Usually, a url costs around $10 per year on average but you can avail of discounts if you buy in companies like namecheap and godaddy. What is Search Engine Optimization?

In one of my previous posts, I listed 65 ways to get traffic to your blog. Well, let me tell you that of all these ways in bringing traffic to your blog, the best way is through what you call search engine optimization.

What is search engine optimization? Search engine optimization or simply SEO is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to your web site or blog site from search engines among other methods which include “natural” (”organic” or “algorithmic”) search results and link exchange to name a few.

Now, what exactly does SEO mean? When you typed a certain keyword in search engines, say Google, the aim of search engine optimization is have your website appear on top of the search results. The higher the rank your website has, the better for your traffic. Search engines provides the best sources of traffic to your site.

So how do you do search engine optimization or SEO? There are a lot of ways and I will list them below:

Link Building. The single most important in search engine optimization is link building. There are two ways to build links - internal links and external links. Internal links are links within your website. If you've noticed the link I made in the very first sentence of this post, that's an example of an internal link.

Meanwhile, external links, as the name implies are links coming from other blog sites or websites, thus it's called external. One such example is the article I made how to become a millionaire which points to my other blog - Millionaire Acts.

Keywords. Keywords are the words that search engine users type in search engines. Keywords are the heart and soul of link building. You need to determine the keywords that you will use in building links. In my example above, I chose "How to Become a Millionaire" as my keyword.

Link Exchanges. Link exchanges are also one of the ways in building links. Link exchanges means communication with other bloggers to trade links of each other's blog. You can either see these link exchanges through their blog's sidebar more commonly known as blogroll.

How to Get Traffic To Your Blog

Earlier, I wrote an article about how to write quality articles. Now, you need to have a visitor for your quality articles to be useful. Visitors make your quality articles worthy. They are your audience. Blogging is like a business, you need to have customers or clients. They are the lifeblood of a business. In blogging, your audience serve as your customers and clients.

So the question now is how to market your articles? What are the ways to get traffic to your site? How will you attract visitors to your blog especially if it was just newly started? How will you be able to drive visitors to visit your blog? I visited one of the forums before and let me share to you about this 65 ways to bring traffic to your blog which I find very interesting.

1. Write something great about your niche and email other bloggers to let them know – there’s a good chance they’ll link to you

2. Have a signature link in forums that points to your site

3. Post links to your pages to social bookmarking sites.

4. Leave comments on other people’s blogs and link back to your site (tip: look in the digg upcoming section for blog posts about to get a lot of traffic).

5. Have the opposite opinion on everyone else on a popular topic, providing you can justify it. Everyone will get annoyed and link to you saying your wrong

6. Answer questions on Yahoo Answers - quote your website as the source.

7. Post in Yahoo and Google Groups with a link to your site in your signature

8. Make a 404 page that redirects to your homepage – no point losing visitors

9. Have an opt-in form – trade links with someone else who has an opt in form on your confirmation page

10. Review a product or company – if your review is positive email the company and ask to be featured in their press section. (this has worked really well for me)

11. Write articles and submit them to article directories

12. Write a Press Release and submit it to PRWeb (make sure it is newsworthy)

13. Use PayPerClick Traffic (e.g Adwords, MSN Adcenter, YSM)

14. Add an RSS subscribe button/link in a high profile spot on your site

15. Add a mailing list subscribe form in a high profile spot on your site

16. Add a bookmark this site link in a high profile spot on your site

17. Use a Tell A Friend Script on your site so people can email their friend about an article on your website.

18. Submit a blog to a blog directory

19. Submit you RSS feed to RSS feed directories

20. Mention your website in a post on Craigslist (don’t spam)

21. Optimize the titles of your pages for keywords people will search for

22. Buy links to your site

23. Buy reviews about your site on other people’s site

24. Buy banner space on other websites if you can get a good ROI

36. Submit videos to video sharing sites like YouTube and Metacafe. Include a link in the description and within the actual video.

37. If you have a product send it to website owners to get reviewed.

38. Look at a big website within your niche and ask to write some guest posts for them

39. Create pages with links to your site on places like Squidoo and Hubpages

40. Place classified Ads on eBay with a link to your website

41. Use an autoresponder on your mailing list to keep people coming back to your site

42. Exchange links with a few related sites in your niche

43. Network! Email other site owners, phone them up, go to industry events and get yourself known. If they know your face they will likely talk about you on their site if you do something interesting.

44. Many forums have a place for you to advertise your site once – find them and do it.

45. Purchase advertising in other people’s mailing lists and newsletters

46. Create an Amazon profile and start submitting reviews

47. Create profiles on MySpace and start networking in groups that are interested in your site’s niche.

48. Conduct a survey and publish the results – make sure you let people know about it.

49. Get your hand on a load of PLR content for your niche. Add a commentary to the top, create a unique title, and post them all to your site – lots of new content and lots of new traffic.

50. Create a cartoon mascot for your site – then hold a competition for someone to create the best game for it – pay the winner a decent amount.

51. Make sure you have a memorable domain name that is short and catchy.

52. Use a well-searched for keyword within your domain name to help rank for that keyword.

53. If you sell a product ask someone else who sells a product to list your product with theirs, and you’ll do the same for them – split commissions on sales.

54. When you write a new article on your site – link to as many blogs as possible – they will likely see your site in their pingbacks, website stats, or Technorati. They will visit your site and possibly subscribe to it and link back at a later date.

55. Get your RSS feed syndicated to different sites like Zimbio and hubpages and Topix.

56. If your site is popular and has quality unique content then apply to get listed in Google’s News search.

57. Create a sitemap and submit it to Google (not great but might help)

58. Use your robots.txt file to stop Google indexing certain directories and pages on your blog (such as archives) to avoid duplicate content issues).

59. Create a couple of small 10 page sites related to your main site. Offer links on these smaller sites in return for links to your main site (this is triangular reciprocal linking).

60. Get yourself known as an expert and get featured in offline magazines, TV and radio stations.

61. Use an auto-translator service to translate your site into other languages – put it in a subdirectory and watch foreign traffic come in.

62. Make posts about sex (don’t have to post anything rude) – and watch the porn surfers find their way to your site through Google.

63. Post about celebrities current events if it relates to your niche – there’s always a lot of people looking up celebrity stuff.

64. Write good headlines/titles – good titles get more clicks.

65. Get some stickers with your domain name on. Go out and stick them on strangers and say “My Website Yeah, Check it out.”

How to Write Quality Content?

They say that in blogging content is definitely king. Without content, your blog is like a barren land without life. Content is the main reason why your readers go to your blog because they have something to learn about.

So how do you write quality content? Here are some of the steps that I do in making and writing quality blog posts:

Research. Research is the number one key in writing a quality content. You don't have to be an expert in a particular topic that you're writing about. In researching, don't limit yourself in only one resource. Onee of the best way to research is to visit forums. Post a question in it and let several members answer it. Then you make a summary of all those answers and present it in one blog post to make a quality article.

Check Spelling and Grammar. I admit, I am not a grammarian but I see to it that before I publish any article, I proofread it to the best grammar rules that I know. A quality article has a good english grammar and spelling. Readers don't want to read articles which are hard to understand and comprehend.

Hire an experienced article writer. Admit it but you cannot write all articles all by yourself. You must delegate. If you have the funds, learn to delegate tasks on writing articles and hire or outsource an article writer. However, be ready to proofread his or her work for quality content.

Most importantly, the three points which I raised above can be summarized in two key points - the terms quality and quantity.

Quality means that the content should be well written and be free from those embarrassing typos that make visitors wonder if your website really knows what it's talking about.
